President and Founder of Cornelius, North Carolina computer consulting firm Shared Resources of NC, LLC, James is a veteran of the United States Air Force (1991-1999) and has a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Mangement (2008) from Western Governors University. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland, European Division (1997), an Associates Degree in Governmental Accounting from the Community College of the Air Force (1995), MCSE Certification through courses with Strayer University, Washington DC (1998), and Lucent HomeStar Installation and Maintenace Certification (1999). In 2008, Microsoft certified his skills in designing, deploying, and managing a network solution for a small- and medium-sized business.
His current labor of love is making the world wide web a better place by updating outdated websites through the conversion from flat HTML to Content Management System-driven dynamic sites.
As Founding Chairman of the Leadership Lake Norman Alumni group, he actively works to extend the positive influences of Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce's leadership program.
James manages The Recycle Bin, a non-profit project designed to redeploy donated systems to help provide otherwise underprivileged people the basics in computer technology: word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, database management, and Internet access. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and golfing.
"On behalf of American Legion Post 86, we would like to thank you for your generous support and participation in our Cornelius Veterans Monument Charity Ride. Your commitment to helping our community raise money to pay tribute to our veterans is sincerely appreciated. The Charity Ride enjoyed great success, raising $3,780 and providing a great day for 30 vehicles, 50 participants, and inexpensive community involvement and marketing opportunities for 36 local businesses."
